Well, I totally bombed today, and I think I know why. First, I had a basic breakfast, just to tide me over (and yes, it was a salad, but so?) Lunch was a veggie burger and celery, and I was full at that point in time. I got on the plane to commute to work, and ate 1/2 a bag of baby carrots…also free. Of course, on the 2nd leg of my commute, I didn’t have anything, so by the time I finally got to Long Beach, I was ***STARVING***! This isn’t good. Of course, I told myself when I went out to eat, I’d just eat part of it, and take the rest home. WRONG. I was like a fat kid at a candy store….I attempted to eat just parts of the meal and allow my brain time to realize I was full, but I did not. I also did not make the right choices on my meal. I could’ve knocked off several points had I just told myself “no” but I was hungry. Fortunately, with Weight Watchers, you have your weekly allowance points, that if you do screw up, it deducts them from that total, which allows you overages for the week.
Tomorrow is a new day, and I’ll be focused again. Working also helps, and I plan on getting a huge plate of steamed veggies once I land at JFK. Below is my chart for today. Suggestions are welcomed. Looking at it, I’m sure some of the values are higher than I planned, because I was estimating, and figure that a higher estimate is better than lower, right?
