Homemade Bedbug Spray

Every few months, as a flight attendant, you hear either a news report or "Galley Gossip" that there is a hotel out there with bedbugs. Unfortunately, you can't avoid them, especially if you travel for a living.

I found a recipe in Real Simple magazine recently for a homemade spray, and I have yet to try it, but after going to Bed, Bath & Beyond today and seeing a spray for $6.99, I figured you could get more for your money with this recipe. I plan on making it, but first, have to order the essential oils from Amazon (so far, the cheapest prices on the web...)

Homemade Bed Bug Spray

1 cup water
10 drops lavender essential oil
10 drops eucalyptus essential oil
10 drops rosemary essential oil
3 drops clove essential oil (optional)

Put into a fine mis sprayer, shake well, and spray on mattresses, furniture, and other items that are (or could be) infested.
